Allegro and Meta partner to expand second-hand listings via Facebook Marketplace

Allegro has announced a new partnership with Meta aimed at increasing the visibility of second-hand products sold by private individuals online. As part of the collaboration, selected listings from Allegro Lokalnie can now be additionally displayed on Facebook Marketplace.

The feature is currently in a testing phase and remains free of charge for Allegro Lokalnie users during this period.

Broader reach for private sellers

Through the integration, private sellers gain access to a wider pool of potential buyers browsing Facebook Marketplace. Listings shown on Facebook redirect users directly to Allegro Lokalnie, where they can view full offer details, contact the seller via chat, and complete the purchase.

To activate the option, sellers simply need to check the box “Display for free on Facebook Marketplace” when creating a listing on Allegro Lokalnie. The feature is also available for listings that are already active.

According to Joanna Skowrońska, Project Manager at Allegro Lokalnie, the partnership strengthens one of the most important elements of online sales — visibility — while also supporting the growth of resale and the circular economy by giving products a second life.

Conditions and limits

The solution is available exclusively to private individuals. Each account can share up to 20 listings per month, including a maximum of five listings in automotive categories. To be eligible for display on Facebook Marketplace, listings must comply with the partner program’s terms and Meta’s community standards.

All transactions, communication, and payment processing take place solely on Allegro Lokalnie. Buyers can continue to benefit from services such as free delivery under Allegro Smart! and protection through the Allegro Buyer Protection Program.

Following the test phase, Allegro and Meta plan to further develop the initiative.
