Allegro expands its reach with 4.2M international buyers onboard
Allegro keeps proving that its marketplace model works far beyond its home country. The company is seeing strong demand from buyers abroad — 4.2 million international customers shopped on its platforms last quarter, marking a major jump compared to a year ago. International turnover is also rising fast, even if it’s still a smaller piece of the overall business.
The group closed Q3 with €4 billion GMV, continuing a steady upward trend in both revenue and profit.
Allegro in Poland
While the international expansion is gaining pace, Poland remains Allegro’s powerhouse. Growth there is far ahead of traditional retail. Allegro Pay and the Allegro Smart loyalty program are keeping shoppers loyal — and nearly one million new subscribers joined recently thanks to special promotions.
With over 128,000 sellers and a catalog of 200+ million products, Allegro shows no signs of slowing down at home.
Growing footprint across Central Europe
Allegro has expanded into Central Europe with dedicated marketplaces in:
• Czech Republic (launched 2023)
• Slovakia (2024)
• Hungary (October 2024)
Across these markets, Allegro now serves 4.2 million customers, compared with 2.8 million a year earlier. The company aims to become one of Europe’s most loved shopping destinations.
Logistics, fintech and a touch of AI
From improved delivery solutions — 36% of parcels are now handled by Allegro’s own network — to new financing and cashback options developed with PKO Bank Polski, Allegro keeps expanding the services sellers and shoppers rely on.
And the next chapter? The company is testing an AI shopping assistant that promises smarter search and guidance while browsing products.
