Balkan eCommerce Summit

Event recap
On April 28–29 in Sofia, the cross-border community gathered for two days that showcased the future of eCommerce in the Balkans and beyond.
The Balkan eCommerce Summit 2026 was a clear sign of where regional business is heading. We are incredibly proud to highlight that this massive undertaking was organized by our very own Association expert, Nikola Ilchev.
Under Nikola’s leadership, Sofia was transformed into a hub for innovation, proving that a mission driven by “heart rather than just a spreadsheet” creates the most value for the community. We extend our huge congratulations to Nikola for this record-breaking success.
The Association was out in full force to support the summit’s mission of “Symbiotic Growth.” Our expert Marcin Pondo (CrossBorder24) was present, joining the discussions and panels that moved away from corporate stiffness toward high-level, professional networking.
The Scale of Success
The numbers from these two days in Sofia speak to the growing strength of the European cross-border ecosystem:
- 3,200+ Attendees connecting across two intensive days.
- 35 Countries represented by international brands and sellers.
- 78 Speakers delivering high-level strategic insights.
- Thousands of Meetings that turned into new, real-world partnerships.
